
Financial Crime Advisory Manager

**About your new role**
We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Advisory Manager to join our team based in Sydney, Brisbane or Gold Coast. You will assist the Head of Financial Crime Advisory to deliver advice to both the frontline and Line 1 Financial Crime operations teams on their AML/CTF, anti-bribery & corruption (ABC), sanctions obligations and risks. In addition, you will monitor the Line 1 teams' compliance with financial crime policies and review the financial crime risk assessments and control effectiveness.
You will work with the wider Line 2 Financial Crime Risk Management function to promote a strong financial crime risk awareness culture and will Identify opportunities for process enhancements, innovation, and the use of best practice approaches to drive continuous improvement. You will Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and assist in gathering information and data for relevant financial crime governance forums.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Extensive experience in a risk management, assurance, compliance or regulatory role.
- Previous experience within the gaming, consulting, banking or financial services sectors is highly regarded.
- A sound understanding of financial crime compliance and reporting requirements as well as demonstrated success in influencing, leading and managing others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including detailed report writing and presentation skills.
- A track record of timely project delivery, overcoming hurdles and management of complex issues.
