About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Financial Crime Policy Manager to lead our financial crime policy and risk assessments function.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial crime policy architecture.
  • Designing and implementing financial crime risk assessment methodologies for customer risk assessment, jurisdiction risk assessment, product and channel risk assessment, and enterprise-wide risk assessment.
  • Establishing and maintaining a review and approval schedule for key policy documentation and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, innovation, and best practice approaches to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promoting and strengthening a financial crime risk awareness culture within the organization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in financial crime policy, assurance, compliance, or risk management roles in a regulated environment.
  • Extensive experience in drafting financial crime policies, AML/CTF programs, and related policy frameworks is essential.
  • A deep understanding of anti-money laundering (AML), combating the financing of terrorism (CFT), anti-bribery & corruption, and sanctions legislation and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and influencing a financial crime team.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to deliver projects in a timely manner while overcoming hurdles and complex issues.
