Job Title:
Aboriginal Corporate Specialist
This role plays a critical part in the delivery of cultural competency training designed to support finance sector professionals better understand the historical and contemporary financial realities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a facilitator or trainer, preferably with corporate, government, or cross-cultural audiences.
You will work closely with team leaders and officers within other business areas to contribute to the design and development of specialist financial education content and programs.
This is a senior role that blends facilitation, content development, relationship management, and advocacy to support systemic change in financial services.
You will oversee the collection of participant feedback for your programs and contribute to evaluation and impact reporting in line with existing outcomes frameworks.
About the Role:
In this role, you will facilitate in-person and online sessions of FNF's Culture and Money program to a range of financial services organisations and government agencies.
You will create a culturally safe and engaging learning environment, drawing on lived experience, professional knowledge, and core training materials.
You will tailor training content and delivery style to meet audience needs while remaining grounded in First Nations perspectives.
This includes working collaboratively with stakeholders to co-design and refine education programs on topics including homeownership, financial planning, superannuation, and insurance.
You will contribute to the creation of culturally appropriate learning resources, workshop materials, and digital content.
Requirements:
Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
Proven experience as a facilitator or trainer, preferably with corporate, government, or cross-cultural audiences
Strong understanding of the financial barriers experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
