Service / Fixed Operations Manager- City Kia (Richmond)
City Automobiles - City KIA Service Department Manager
City Kia (Richmond) is seeking an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Automotive Service Manager to join our family business and to be part of a successful team in a well-established Kia dealership.
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our service department. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and advisors, ensuring that our customers receive superior service every time they visit our dealership.
Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Manage and motivate a team of service technicians and advisors

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction

• Monitor and improve service department efficiency and productivity
Manage Work In Progress and all aspect of warranty bookings and claims
Provide weekly management reports on all aspects of the service department

• Ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely manner and meet quality standards

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

• Maintain accurate records of service transactions and customer interactions

• Handle customer escalations with professionalism and resolve any issues promptly

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry

• Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent customer service

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• A passion for cars and automotive technology

• An understanding of dealership operations and processes

• A high level of attention to detail and organisational skills

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
