About the role :
Reporting directly to the Service Deli Manager, this successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day running of the store's service deli, ensuring smooth operation of the department and its team.
If successful, you will help manage and coach the team, complete production, action orders, generate rosters, and more
Working as part of an enthusiastic team in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants should demonstrate:
Fresh food retail knowledge (preferred but not essential)
Ability to supervise a team
Understanding of ordering, cost control, and gross profit
Accurate team member rostering
Passion and enthusiasm with a hands-on approach
Unparalleled commitment to customer service
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with team members and management
A flair for merchandising
Commitment to work health and safety standards
