Meat Department Supervisor

Our goal is to find an exceptional team leader to supervise and assist a small team of butchers in our West Brisbane store. This position involves leading by example, mentoring staff members, creating effective schedules, ordering products, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with strong leadership abilities to oversee our butcher department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess the ability to train and develop others.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor a team of butchers
- Develop and implement schedules and rosters
- Order products and manage stock levels
- Conduct regular stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives
- Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Leadership and management skills
- Ability to train and develop staff members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
