About this opportunity :

Our Rochedale store in South Brisbane is currently looking for a motivated and hardworking leader to join and assist in leading the store's fruit & veg department.

Reporting directly to the Fruit & Veg Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes, and much more

Working as part of an enthusiastic team in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate :

  • Fresh food retail knowledge is desired but not essential
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Ability to order and control costs
  • Accurate team rostering
  • Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands-on" approach
  • Unparalleled commitment to customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with both team members and management
  • A flair for merchandising
