With breathtaking views of the Brisbane River and city skyline, our award-winning Lamberts Restaurant, and the iconic rooftop venue Eagles Nest Brisbane, we deliver memorable moments for leisure, business, and event guests alike.Our philosophy is simple: "Get Together, Get To The Point" — and our people are at the heart of delivering this promise.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bars & Events Operations Manager to lead the renowned Eagles Nest Rooftop Bar and oversee functions and events across the property.This is a hands-on leadership role within our Food & Beverage Department, with accountability for:Maintain a strong floor presence, engaging with guests and supporting the team during peak service periodsFinancial performance, cost control, and profitabilityStaff leadership, development, and team cultureCompliance with licensing, WHS, and hotel standardsAs Bars & Events Operations Manager, you'll be a key driver of innovation, efficiency, and service excellence.
You will work closely with the General Manager, Marketing Manager, Lamberts Manager, and Head Chef to deliver unforgettable dining and event experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a strong floor presence, engaging with guests and supporting the team during peak service periodsLead daily operations at Eagles Nest Brisbane and event spacesDeliver high-quality functions and events from set-up to executionRecruit, train, and develop the F&B teamOversee budgets, stock control, and pricing strategiesDrive continuous improvement and competitive positioning in the marketBuild strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partnersManage employee rosters, timesheets and leave requestsAbout YouWe are looking for a professional with:Certificate IV in Hospitality (Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management highly regarded)Current RSA, RMLV, and Approved Manager's LicenseProven management experience in premium food & beverage operations (hotel experience preferred)Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsA passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving innovationWhy Join Us?
