**The opportunity**:
Kinetic prides itself on delivering safe, clean and reliable bus services to our valued communities and taking proactive measures to ensure there are mínimal disruptions to our services. Our in-house **Operations Control Centre** plays an integral part in making this a reality by monitoring minute-by-minute movements of our buses along the network and remotely supporting our Bus Drivers with navigating various on-road situations.

As we continue to grow our team, we are on the lookout for a **Network Controller** that is a natural when it comes to engaging with frontline staff and exercising sound judgement to provide solutions that improve service delivery. You will side with a collaborative **Network** team that allows opportunities for cross-training and exposure in other areas of the business, gaining a diverse skillset to grow internally. We also run a dedicated **Car to MR/HR bus licence upgrade program** with all expenses covered, allowing you to experience the services we love to deliver first-hand.

**What you can expect**:

- Coordinate operational movements in relation to scheduled bus services, routes, and to meet requirements for maintenance and fuelling.
- Implement developed plans for scheduled service requirements, ad-hoc requests from Operations for Bus Driver changeovers, and ad-hoc requests from Assets for vehicle changeovers.
- Review and provide cover in the event of unexpected needs due to instances such as vehicle breakdowns, staffing changes, late running of buses, passenger demand, poor weather etc.
- Provide information to Operations to help them minimize the impact to customers due to service disruptions, emergencies or incidents.
- Record and report on accidents, incidents and the recovery plan for driving activities including staff & vehicle incidents via company systems and any adverse driver behaviour.
- Provide timely support to Bus Drivers during emergencies and incidents in line with company procedures.
- Assist in the on-ground management of charters and special events including route diversion planning.

- Demonstrated experience in an operational environment including the coordination of teams and monitoring their adherence to procedures.
- Ability to build rapport within a team and effectively engage with diverse people in person, via radio or via phone.
- Minimum C class drivers licence (MR licence preferred or willingness to obtain as driving buses is required for all Kinetic staff).
- A valid State Driving Authority and Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Nationally recognised First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of bus route services and the local transport network desired.
