Job Overview:
The Construction Director plays a pivotal role in leading the delivery of construction projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Main Responsibilities:
Promote effective project time management from planning to execution and delivery, ensuring timely completion and minimal delays.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and profitability across all construction projects, to drive business growth and success.
Develop and implement strategic plans, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Nurture key relationships with external partners, suppliers, and clients, maintaining open communication and resolving issues promptly.
Provide visionary leadership and mentorship to direct reports, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Ensure on-site safety standards are met, monitor construction quality, and proactively manage project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Candidate Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 8 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
A proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution, with a focus on finding solutions rather than placing blame.
