We are seeking Staff Accommodation & Transport Coordinators to join our team at the Nauru Regional Processing Centre on a Fixed Term Contract.
About the Role
In your role as Staff Accommodation & Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for allocating staff to their accommodation and for arranging the collection and delivery to/from the Nauru International Airport when they arrive/depart as part of their roster rotation.
General Duties include but are not limited to:
- allocate accommodation to arriving personnel
- arranging room preparation for arrivals and departures
- arranging transport to collect/drop personnel between their accommodation and airport when they are arriving/departing
- make arrangements with our Catering Department to ensure all personnel are cared for during their quarantine period upon arrival on the island
- coordinate COVID-19 testing for new arrivals
- maintain accurate records of arrangements made
- attend regular training and refresher sessions to maintain skills and qualifications
- build & maintain a productive working relationship with team members and stakeholders
- attending regular training and refresher sessions to maintain skills and qualifications including but not limited to cultural awareness, mental health, CPR and first aid
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 2 to 3 years administration experience in a similar role preferred
- proven ability to coordinate high volume and complex tasks
- be willing and able to undertake induction training, working and living in a hot tropical environment on Nauru
- be socially responsible with the highest standards of personal honesty and integrity
- be flexible and adaptable approach to varied working situations
- ability to work successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- proven right to work in Australia
- willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
- current Working with Children Card
- current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 (double vaccinated) plus one booster with a vaccine recognised in Australia
