Job Description

The role of Coordinator is key to delivering high-quality services and ensuring the well-being of participants in our SIL accommodation.

As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of day-to-day running of the SIL accommodation. This includes managing a team to support participants with physical or psychosocial disabilities, developing services and support for participants, and providing mentoring and training to staff.

You will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders, complying with work practices and safety measures, and facilitating activities that align with participant goals as funded by individual support plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to support 12 participants with physical or psychosocial disabilities
  • Develop services and support for participants within the accommodation
  • Provide mentoring and training to staff, including performance management, rostering, and team meetings
  • Maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders
  • Comply with work practices and safety measures
  • Facilitate activities that align with participant goals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong knowledge of the disability and mental health space, as well as an understanding of Supported Independent Living accommodations. You should also have process-driven skills, an enthusiastic attitude, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits

We offer a salary range between $75,000 to $80,000, on-call and overtime pay, use of fleet vehicle, phone & laptop, and opportunities for development and growth.
