Senior Human Resources Business Manager
, you will be a strategic thinker behind transformative HR initiatives, partnering closely with the
Chief Operations Office (COO)
and
Strategic Transformation Office (STO)
. Embedded within the
Human Resource Advisory & People Solutions
team, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide change and align people strategies with global and local business priorities.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Partnership & Influence: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives. Provide expert counsel across leadership development, workforce planning, organisational culture, and change management.
Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and guide the HR Advisory team, acting as deputy to the General Manager, Human Resources Australia, and foster a high-performance, future-ready HR function.
Human Resource Strategy & Execution: Design and deliver forward-looking HR plans. Lead enterprise projects and leverage workforce analytics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
Employee Relations & Risk Management: Advise on complex workforce matters and organisational change. Collaborate with Workplace Relations to resolve sensitive issues.
Change Leadership: Champion structural and cultural transformation initiatives. Ensure alignment with policy, timely execution, and effective communication across stakeholder groups.
Talent & Succession Planning: Identify and nurture key talent. Build robust succession pipelines and support mobility strategies where necessary.
What You'll Bring
15+ years' experience in strategic HR business partnering within complex, mid-to-large organisations.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and influencing capabilities.
Commercial acumen, collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-impact outcomes.
Confidence in navigating complex conversations and applying data to guide decisions.
