**Human Resources Business Partner - Sydney**
**About the role**
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and people focused Human Resources Business Partner in Sydney. This is a great opportunity to make an impact by aligning people strategy with business goals, supporting a high-performing, inclusive culture, and helping people across all areas of the business thrive. You will work closely with senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor to assigned client groups, building strong relationships across the business.
You will work closely with HR team members across our four Australian offices on a variety of interesting projects and initiatives.

You will be joining a collaborative and supportive HR team who are committed to and passionate about creating great employee experiences. **What does the role involve?**
You will provide expert HR advice and coaching to partners and managers. You will be seen as the 'trusted advisor' regarding all aspects of HR such as:
- Resourcing - including recruitment and onboarding, retention, succession planning, talent management and terminations
- Managing and overseeing the clerkship and graduate recruitment programs
- Workforce planning
- Remuneration and benefits - including supporting the annual salary review process and promotion of benefits
- Employee relations - such as managing complex and difficult performance and misconduct issues, ill health, complaints / grievances and health and safety considerations
- Supporting the Senior Human Resources Manager in delivering and executing organisational change and culture change initiatives
- Facilitating organisational development projects such as engagement surveys, and corporate wellbeing initiatives
- Managing the annual performance review and annual salary review processes for both staff and lawyers
- Delivering training and development sessions as required for partners, lawyers and staff
- Driving HR communications as appropriate, for example via monthly newsletters, attending partner/manager meetings and participating in relevant internal events
- Liaise with the Learning & Professional Development team to facilitate training
- Mentoring junior members of the human resources team
