The End User Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the infrastructure, platforms, and devices used by employees across the organisation. This role ensures the efficient implementation, operation, and maintenance of end-user devices, site technology, and supporting platforms like Microsoft Intune. Additionally, the role involves developing strategies to continually modernise and enhance all end-user technology, including management systems, and will be a core contributor to the IT Transformation program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the end-user technology engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Collaborate with key stakeholders to set goals and priorities aligned with business objectives.- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user technology, ensuring availability, performance, and security. Proactively monitor and manage infrastructure performance.- Manage the lifecycle of end-user devices, including procurement, deployment, and retirement. Maintain an accurate inventory and ensure compliance with asset management policies.- Establish and implement policies and controls for managing end-user devices, leveraging technologies like Microsoft Intune. Regularly review and update policies to adapt to changing technology and security landscapes.- Manage site technology, including cloud print solutions and site networks, ensuring seamless operation and integration to enhance user productivity.-
- Administer Microsoft Intune, developing and implementing policies for device compliance and configuration. Manage device enrolment and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless device management.- Focus on modernising the end-user technology environment, implementing technologies like Windows Autopilot, and integrating new technologies to enhance user experience and efficiency.- Act as the technical lead for the End User Technology stream of the IT Transformation program, contributing to program goals.- Work with the Digital Services Manager to understand business needs, plan and prioritise technology improvements, and develop strategies to enhance infrastructure. Set KPIs and stay updated with industry trends.- Plan and manage infrastructure projects, coordinating with vendors and service providers, and tracking project progress.- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements, conduct regular audits, and report on compliance with governance and risk frameworks.
You will:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.- Be an excellent problem-solver- Have advanced proficiency in infrastructure systems and support tools- Have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune and other MDM solutions.- Be able to make data led decisions, influencing stakeholders to achieve shared goals
