Role Overview: NTT Sydney is seeking a
Cloud Engineer (End User Optimisation)
to focus on user-facing optimisation initiatives across research data and shared storage programs. This role will address data hygiene issues, manage cloud drives, and engage end-users to ensure strategies are embedded and adopted effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Provide support for
research data management and shared storage initiatives
.
Drive
end-user optimisation
across cloud drives (OneDrive, SharePoint, AWS FSx, Azure).
Reduce inefficiencies by tackling
data hygiene issues
such as uncontrolled provisioning.
Deliver
training and engagement sessions
to support adoption of strategies.
Maintain clear documentation and templates to guide technical teams.
Contribute to
sustainable citizen cleanout programs
, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Strong background in
cloud engineering with an end-user focus
.
Hands-on experience with
cloud drive management and optimisation
.
Familiarity with
data hygiene and lifecycle practices
in enterprise environments.
Excellent communication skills for
training and stakeholder engagement
.
Ability to bridge technical solutions with
user adoption needs
.
