Overview
We are currently seeking a Manager – Pavements, ANZ. The role provides leadership and operational direction to the Pavements technical capability in collaboration with other sector leaders and within the wider SMEC business. This is a national role and the position can be based out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.
Responsibilities
Provide operational, technical and business development direction for the Pavements capability to support SMEC's vision and values.
Ensure capability development and mobilization of the Pavements capability nationally.
Manage national client relationships.
Requirements / What you bring
Typically 20+ years' industry experience, recognised as an authority in the transport infrastructure design market.
Experience in Manager / Lead roles within engineering consulting organisations, with ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects to budget and client specifications.
Ability to build trusting and productive client relationships and to produce tender/proposal documents of high standard and timeliness.
Experience in leading a team for performance and cohesion; recognised as a local authority in the sector.
