Manage Pavement Design Solutions
">As a Manager - Pavement Design, you will lead a team of technical experts in providing exceptional pavement related design and expert advice to stakeholders. Your role will involve resolving complex technical issues through creative and advanced problem solving.
You will develop effective relationships with stakeholders, representing the department at key project meetings and contributing to the discipline Community of Practice. The responsibilities of this role encompass leading a team to deliver structural design of flexible pavements and rigid pavements, rehabilitation treatments, structural overlays using mechanistic procedures, design of stabilisation treatments, pavement and surfacing condition, and selection of surfacing treatments.
The key outcomes include ensuring the delivery of high-quality pavement design services, improving pavement design capability, promoting a customer-focused culture, and establishing trust with stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
To be successful, you must possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, experience in pavement technology or construction, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. Experience in mentoring and developing others is also desirable.
