Overview

We are currently seeking a Manager – Pavements, ANZ. The role provides leadership and operational direction to the Pavements technical capability in collaboration with other sector leaders and within the wider SMEC business. This is a national role and the position can be based out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.


Responsibilities
  • Provide operational, technical and business development direction for the Pavements capability to support SMEC's vision and values.
  • Ensure capability development and mobilization of the Pavements capability nationally.
  • Manage national client relationships.

Requirements / What you bring
  • Typically 20+ years' industry experience, recognised as an authority in the transport infrastructure design market.
  • Experience in Manager / Lead roles within engineering consulting organisations, with ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects to budget and client specifications.
  • Ability to build trusting and productive client relationships and to produce tender/proposal documents of high standard and timeliness.
  • Experience in leading a team for performance and cohesion; recognised as a local authority in the sector.
