Senior Legal Advisor
Are you a seasoned lawyer seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Advisor to join our team.
We are seeking an experienced and independent legal practitioner with 5+ years' experience, ready to take on a leadership role while contributing to mentoring and outreach efforts.
This is a full-time position based in Parramatta, NSW. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will deliver legal services in civil, criminal, and/or family law, as well as employment law matters. You will also supervise and mentor junior staff, participate in outreach programs, and build referral pathways with community stakeholders.
About this Role:
Delivering high-quality legal advice and representation to clients
Supervising and mentoring junior staff
Participating in outreach programs across libraries, prisons, courts, and refuges
Building relationships with community stakeholders
Your Skills and Qualifications:
You should have:
A strong background in employment law
Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities
Confidence in changeable environments and strong IT competency
Ability to build rapport with vulnerable clients and frontline partners
