Are you a seasoned lawyer seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Advisor to join our team.
We are seeking an experienced and independent legal practitioner with 5+ years' experience, ready to take on a leadership role while contributing to mentoring and outreach efforts.
This is a full-time position based in Parramatta, NSW. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will deliver legal services in civil, criminal, and/or family law, as well as employment law matters. You will also supervise and mentor junior staff, participate in outreach programs, and build referral pathways with community stakeholders.
About this Role:
- Delivering high-quality legal advice and representation to clients
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Participating in outreach programs across libraries, prisons, courts, and refuges
- Building relationships with community stakeholders
Your Skills and Qualifications:
You should have:
- A strong background in employment law
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Confidence in changeable environments and strong IT competency
- Ability to build rapport with vulnerable clients and frontline partners
