Overview
Job Title:Operations Specialist - Domestic Settlements Analyst
Location:Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Base pay range:$35.00/hr - $38.00/hr
Duration:6+ Months
Project Summary
This contractor will be supporting the Derivative Collateral Management team.
Senior team members will be moving to an optimization effort while newer team members take over day-to-day tasks.
This contractor may be pulled in to support ad-hoc tasks as needed depending on skill set.
About the Department
We are seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist - Domestic Settlements Analyst as part of Corporate Investment Banking.
This department supports the settlement of collateral on the derivative, repurchase agreement (repo), forward, TBA Agency MBS and foreign exchange (FX) businesses.
This group is located in Charlotte and supports nearly 30,000 clients across all business' product lines, and multiple legal entities.
Top Skills
Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
Assist in client account onboarding, input and monitoring of cash payments, customer service, project support, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation, as well as work to resolve confirmation and ISDA related issue
NICE TO HAVE
FINRA Series 7 license – DOES NOT NEED TO BE ACTIVE
Familiarity with Tableau (team will build reporting off data)
Knowledge of FX products, collateral, fixed income products, swaps experience, accounting, equity FX background, general ledger, client facing experience etc.
SOFT SKILLS
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
