Investment Operations Specialist
We are seeking an Investment Operations Specialist to contribute to the operations of our investment activities by providing support and managing key activities such as unit pricing, daily operational matters, projects, and managing custody relationships and custody-related matters.

Job Summary:
As a highly skilled Investment Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational matters including instructions to the custodian and investment managers. You will translate business strategy changes into operational model adjustments, processes, or controls in order to maintain a robust service model. Additionally, you will support the management of the daily unit pricing process and implement internal operational process changes to maintain a robust unit pricing oversight model.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operational matters including instructions to the custodian and investment managers.
  • Translate business strategy changes into operational model adjustments, processes, or controls.
  • Support the management of the daily unit pricing process.
  • Implement internal operational process changes to maintain a robust unit pricing oversight model.
  • Contribute to and/or manage the delivery of projects to ensure the project objective is met within its specified timeframe, budget, and to acceptable quality standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A finance/business degree and post-graduate qualifications are highly regarded.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on Fund Accounting, particularly with an in-depth knowledge of unit pricing processes.
  • The ability to work in an environment requiring attention to detail, problem-solving, and high levels of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, work under pressure, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate, liaise, and contribute at meetings with people at different levels within the organisation.
