**Functions Coordinator**
A rare and exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of Functions Coordinator. We are looking for a driven, client experience-focused individual to deliver end-to-end events and functions across our three event spaces at our Cellar Door in Avenel and farm in Longwood.

As the Functions Coordinator you will be responsible for executing the perfect function and ensure all attendees are delighted with their experience at Fowles. This includes ensuring all function and event enquiries are promptly responded to, preparing and distributing event orders and function run sheets in a thorough, accurate and timely fashion.

The position is responsible for organising and delivering a wide range of events and functions bookings across the venue, including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties and other celebrations.

This role will suit a highly organised person, with impeccable work ethic, customer service skills and enthusiasm.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Ensures all functions and events are executed accurately, efficiently and with great attention to detail
- Ensures thorough comprehension of the core values of Fowles Wine, and to uphold the values and philosophy of the business
- Works closely with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to ensure accurate execution of customer requests whilst maximising revenue and profitability
- Through thorough planning, attention to detail and regular communication, reassures guests of competency
- Demonstrates an impeccable work ethic, enthusiasm, honesty and integrity
- Works closely with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to ensure accurate execution of customer requests whilst maximising revenue and profitability
- This role comprises administration duties as directed, including but not limited to; answering of phones, taking reservations, taking messages, liaising with suppliers, formatting and printing of menus, written correspondence
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders internally and externally via a range of mediums across all levels of the business
- Worked in a similar capacity within a dynamic, fast paced organisation
- Possess excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated, driven individual with a customer-service focus
- Positive attitude
- Professional phone manner, well-spoken and articulate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
