**About the Opportunity**

As functions and events (F&E) sales lead you be responsible for converting a portfolio of venues into sales to increase F&E growth and functions & events coordinator profits.
You will also be responsible for proactively responding to all inbound sales enquiries (received either directly to venues or online) in agreed time frames to maximise the potential for all sales.
You have the exciting venture of also contributing to generating new business via outbound sales calls to existing and new customers.
Your ability to maintain strong relationships with venues and work collaboratively with them to troubleshoot will make you stand out from the rest. Ensuring that all bookings or execution issues are delivered seamlessly with attention to detail

**A day in the life of Function & Events Sales Coordinator**
- Achieving key growth metrics including sales, response rates, conversion statistics and follow up
- Adhere to pricing, minimum spend and yield management strategies for each venue
- Contribute to building a strong, ever evolving client database across a portfolio of function venues
- Meet targets for outbound sales/calls
- Engage in sales team events
- Use prescribed booking platforms efficiently
- Work with Venue Teams to ensure the smooth execution of all functions

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 2-3 years experience within the events or hospitality field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strategic thinking skills and the ability to work to deadlines whilst staying calm under pressure
- High level of computer skills
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and administration skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Multi-site experience with strong sale background
