About Us

At YASSAS The Greek Way, we don't just serve food — we create experiences. From lively Greek dining to immersive entertainment, our venues are also the perfect setting for functions, celebrations, and corporate events. We're now looking for a driven Functions & Events Coordinator to grow and manage our events business.

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you'll combine sales, marketing, and event coordination to maximise bookings and deliver unforgettable experiences.

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed for events

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Marketing our venues across event platforms (Tagvenue, Venuemob, HeadBox, etc.) and social media.
  • Driving enquiries, converting leads, and maximising confirmed bookings.
  • Developing function menus and packages in collaboration with FOH and kitchen managers.
  • Coordinating events from initial enquiry to execution.
  • Liaising with clients to ensure their vision is delivered seamlessly.
  • Innovating new event concepts and revenue streams to maximise venue utilisation.
About You

We're looking for someone with passion, creativity, and strong business drive.

You will bring:

  • Prior experience in a similar role (Functions/Events Coordinator, Sales Executive, or Junior Coordinator).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (Functions/Events Coordinator, Sales Executive, or Junior Coordinator)
  • Knowledge of event listing platforms (Tagvenue, Venuemob, HeadBox or similar).
  • Experience developing and managing function packages.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with FOH and kitchen teams.
  • A proactive and results-focused mindset with an eye for new revenue opportunities.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required
  • Food Safety Handler certification preferred
  • Proficiency with event management software (e.g., EventPro, Ivvy)
  • Experience with POS systems and booking platforms
