It features five food and beverage outlets, a pool, fitness centre, convenience store, and 15 versatile event spaces making it a destination for both leisure and business guests, as well as a premier venue for weddings, conferences, and large-scale functions.About The RoleWe are currently hiring chefs of all levels, who will play a crucial part in our à la carte kitchen's success, contributing to the creation of delectable dishes that delight our guests.

Available shifts will predominately cover afternoon/evening hours with start times of 12pm, 1pm or 2pm.Key ResponsibilitiesCasual/Commis/Demi ChefsAssist in the preparation and production of various dishes.Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.Maintain a clean and organised workspace.Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.Assist in the receiving and storage of food and supplies.Chef de PartieAssist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee food preparationSupervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-energy work environment.Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.Manage inventory, order supplies and minimise waste to optimise kitchen efficiency.Assist with menu development and special event planningAbout YouCulinary degree or relevant culinary training is preferredExperience in an à la carte kitchen is essentialComfortable in Grill, Pans, and Fryer sectionsPrevious experience in a hotel or banquets environment is an advantageA passion for culinary arts and creativity in the kitchenStrong communication and teamwork skillsEvening and weekend availability requiredBenefitsOscars Group food & beverage discountsFree on-site parking during shiftsInternal and external training and development opportunities including an online training platformCareer progression across 45+ venues within the Oscars GroupEmployee Assistance Program for you and your immediate familyReward and recognition initiativesSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeOtherJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesTechnology, Information and Media
