**About the Role**

An opportunity has arisen for a **motivated and positive **Patient Equipment Officer to join our **Occupational Therapy department** at **Joondalup Health Campus (JHC)**. The service provides Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy loan equipment to patients upon discharge from hospital as prescribed by our therapists.

The role will entail, but is not limited to;
- To facilitate the delivery, retrieval and maintenance of patient loan equipment for the patients and internal customers of **Joondalup Health Campus;**:

- Organisation, inventory management and storage of equipment;
- Delivering equipment to the patient equipment centre, wards and therapy areas;
- Sanitising and maintenance of returned equipment;
- Liaison with hospital staff, patients and the general public; and
- Additional duties as directed by Manager and Supervisor.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will meet the following criteria;
- Commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values;
- Demonstrated customer service skills and professional standard of communication;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills; and
- Adherence to department policies and procedures with sound WH&S knowledge and practice.
- Previous experience in a Patient Equipment role or as an Allied Health Assistant is desirable but not essential.

**Remuneration : On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $31.87 - $ 35.53 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances**

**Requirements**:
