As a Patient Transport Officer, you'll support the safe and compassionate transfer of eligible patients and carers at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
You'll work closely with hospital staff and other team members to provide an on-time, professional service that enhances the hospital experience.As a Patient Transport Officer in the External Transport Services team, you'll make a positive impact by:Delivering timely and compassionate transport services for patients and carersChecking and maintaining vehicle and equipment readinessAssisting patients with safe boarding and disembarkingRecording and communicating detailed handover informationFollowing infection control and safety protocolsDriving vehicles safely while maintaining patient comfortSerco is a place for youTo be successful in this role you'll have:Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport/Certificate IV in Health care or equivalentCurrent WA C Class Driver's LicencePTD – Passenger Transport Driver Authorisation (or willingness to obtain)Valid CPR certification/ First aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)WWC Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Up-to-date COVID-19 and other relevant vaccinations (MMR, Pertussis, Varicella)Experience in a similar role or strong transferable skills from a customer service or care settingStrong communication and teamwork skills, with a respectful and inclusive approachIn joining us, you'll be part of a highly supportive culture with trusted leaders that will help you achieve your goals.
