We've got a wonderful opportunity for someone just like you As a Tech Bar Support Consultant, you'll become a trusted and friendly face to our retirement village residents—helping them navigate the digital world with confidence and ease.

Whether it's setting up a device, solving a tech hiccup, or simply showing someone how to video call their grandkids, your support will make a meaningful impact. You'll provide on-site assistance, troubleshooting, and one-on-one training to help residents build digital skills and feel more connected to the world around them.

This is a permanent parttime role based out of our facility in Kirrawee NSW 2232

Why you will love this job:
- Resident & Village Tech Support: You will provide friendly and efficient support for basic hardware and software issues, assist residents with accessing digital tools, and support village management with day-to-day tech needs.- Digital Training & Confidence Building: You will facilitate one-on-one and group training sessions to empower residents in using smartphones, tablets, computers, and online services with confidence.- Technology Engagement & Awareness: You will step in to lead informative sessions and promote digital programs, encouraging greater tech adoption and digital connection within the village community.- Equipment & Infrastructure Coordination: You will set up, track, and maintain IT equipment used by both residents and staff, ensuring devices are functional, up-to-date, and accessible.- Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Support the coordination of third-party technology vendors and work with internal teams to ensure smooth tech operations and experiences.- IT Safety & Compliance: Your role will champion safe tech practices by following workplace safety protocols and reporting any technology-related hazards or risks promptly.

What You Bring:
- You're a tech-savvy communicator with a genuine passion for helping others—especially seniors—embrace technology with ease and confidence. Your patience, empathy, and ability to simplify complex concepts make you a trusted guide in any digital journey.- Customer-Focused Support: You deliver warm, respectful, and patient tech support tailored to meet the needs of older adults.- Clear Communicator & Trainer: Confident in running one-on-one or group digital literacy sessions, making technology accessible and enjoyable.- Technical Know-How: Skilled in troubleshooting end-user devices across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android platforms, as well as audio/video conferencing tools.- Collaborative & Organised: Able to work cross-functionally, juggle multiple priorities, and offer proactive, hands-on IT support.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in IT or relevant experience.- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, VLAN).- Previous experience in IT support, customer service, or training roles.- Proven ability to teach non-technical users in a friendly and effective way.
