Job Title: Tech Bar Support Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Tech Bar Support Consultant. As a trusted guide, you will provide friendly and efficient support for basic hardware and software issues, assist residents with accessing digital tools, and support village management with day-to-day tech needs.

About the Role:

  • You will facilitate one-on-one and group training sessions to empower residents in using smartphones, tablets, computers, and online services with confidence.

  • You will step in to lead informative sessions and promote digital programs, encouraging greater tech adoption and digital connection within the village community.

  • You will set up, track, and maintain IT equipment used by both residents and staff, ensuring devices are functional, up-to-date, and accessible.

  • You will support the coordination of third-party technology vendors and work with internal teams to ensure smooth tech operations and experiences.

  • You will champion safe tech practices by following workplace safety protocols and reporting any technology-related hazards or risks promptly.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree or diploma in IT or relevant experience.

  • A strong understanding of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, VLAN).

  • Previous experience in IT support, customer service, or training roles.

  • The ability to teach non-technical users in a friendly and effective way.
