Let's talk about this role
As a Salesforce Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading a high performing team of Salesforce Analysts and Developers with a dedicated focus in Salesforce projects. You will be the go-to expert by bringing a breadth and depth of experience to nib as well as peer recognised level of competency in the field of Salesforce development.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the analysis, design, development, delivery and support of the Salesforce stream to meet business needs- Ensure appropriate level of quality is being considered during the development lifecycle- Work with relevant IT departments to implement appropriate monitoring, logging and reporting mechanisms to proactively identify production issues- Provide thought leadership on best Salesforce development practice and promote standards so that Salesforce solutions across nib are cost effective, modern and fit for purpose.- Lead and enable the team to deliver initiatives and work within constraints- Mentor and coach less experienced developers and ensure continuous improvement within the team
Let's talk about you
With demonstrated experience in managing a team of Salesforce developers, as well as leading the delivery of Salesforce initiatives, other skills that will set you up for success include:
- Strong knowledge of APEX and experience of using developer toolkit e.g. Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers- Previous experience using Visual Force- Understanding of SOAP and REST web services- Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming language e.g. Java or.NET- Strong architectural mindset with demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce engineering principles- In depth knowledge of Salesforce engineering principles e.g. automated testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery- Strong business acumen and ability to provide pragmatic solutions to complex problems- Exposure to AWS or other cloud services would be highly regarded
