**The Role**

As a Member Service Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for members, providing essential assistance in various banking needs. Your role will involve processing transactions, handling inquiries, and identifying opportunities to fulfil members' financial requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Embrace a "Member First" approach, promptly and courteously addressing member inquiries while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Deliver accurate and up-to-date information to meet or exceed service expectations and build member confidence.
- Resolve member complaints and inquiries, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution.
- Adhere to QBANK sales and service standards, ensuring consistent and professional interactions.
- Follow appropriate policies and procedures for each member interaction, taking correct and timely actions.
- Participate in training to maintain current knowledge of QBANK products, policies, and services.
- Undertake cross-training for call centre procedures to support resource flexibility.
- Provide exceptional service to members enquiring about membership and QBANK products, identifying opportunities for new services.
- Promote self-service methods to members, such as ATM, Internet, and Phone Banking.
- Handle teller duties, including transactions, cash handling, and maintaining accurate records.
- Proactively identify and report potential risks, demonstrate a positive risk culture, and adhere to compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve operational excellence and adhere to QBANK policies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 12 months of experience in the Banking and Finance industry.
- Tier 2 General Advice certification in General Insurance and Deposit Products or approved equivalent (support provided if needed).
- Excellent customer service skills with prior experience in a service role.
- Teamwork, collaboration, problem-solving, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Cash handling skills and ability to process transactions accurately.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
