**Description**:
The opportunity.

Working as part of a small team, you would play an integral role in understanding our members needs and helping our members achieve their financial goals whilst ensuring all compliance obligations are maintained. This includes assisting members with their day-to-day banking needs in branch or over the phone with loans for vehicles, holidays and other personal needs.

This position is accountable for delivering outstanding member service to achieve agreed performance goals which includes:

- Working with our members to achieve their financial goals.
- Opening accounts, processing transactions, and responding to member queries.
- Proactively promoting Defence Bank within Defence, with Defence Industry partners, and within the broader community to grow our member base and product portfolios.
- Completing branch tasks to ensure ongoing compliance with legislation and Defence Bank's policies and processes.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About you.

In order to serve a unique community, we need a unique individual who is passionate about building meaningful relationships with our members, current and prospective, base command and internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service.

To be successful for the role, you will have at least 2 years' experience in a retail sales team, ideally within financial services and a high school certificate or equivalent.

**You will also have demonstrated experience and skills in**:

- Achieving agreed goals in line with individual and team plans.
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Facilitating presentations to small and large groups.
- Picking up new concepts quickly.
- Time management with the ability to handle unplanned interruptions.
