**About the Role**
We are currently seeking a _Procurement Assistant Coordinator _to join the team at our support office located in Bentleigh. This role also includes travel to our homes for project and procurement purposes and you will be supplied with a work laptop and mobile phone.
This is a part time position working Wednesday to Friday 9.30am to 3pm. There is flexibility regarding work hours (Thursdays and Fridays can be a later start and finish if desirable).
**Responsibilities**
- Assisting our homes with ad hoc procurement queries in a timely manner
- Place ad hoc orders adhering to tiered approval processes
- Collating information for quote requests and submission
- Updating excel spreadsheet documentation
- Assist with Project requirements i.e., eta follow up and scheduling
- Assist with accepting and checking deliveries during projects, attending to any variances identified
- Contract assessments
- Assist with ad hoc requests from Procurement Specialist
**Skills and Requirements**
- Procurement experience, preferably in the aged care/health industry sector
- Degree in Procurement or equivalent experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills - including competent in MS Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Current police check or willing to obtain
- COVID vaccination (3 doses)
