We want to engage and empower our diverse, global team to co-create value with our customers through our solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground, and finished vehicle transport.YOUR ROLEWe are seeking a commercially driven Procurement Coordinator to join our Pacific operations.Based in our Ground & Rail business, this role supports sourcing, vendor relationships, compliance, and contract performance across a large subcontractor base.
Reporting to the GM Procurement - Ground & Rail, you will support strategic procurement activity and build strong partnerships to deliver high-quality transport solutions that align with business and customer goals.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:Support management of commercial relationships with a broad subcontractor network across Australia and New ZealandOversee sourcing, rate negotiations, onboarding, compliance, and performance trackingLead / contribute to tendering and procurement activity for ground and rail transport servicesAct as a central point of contact for commercial negotiations and contract executionPartner with Operations, Finance, Legal and Procurement colleagues across the regionSupport the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiativesMonitor supplier performance and implement improvement strategies to optimise value and mitigate risk.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has a procurement background, preferably in ground or rail transport, and strong commercial and stakeholder management skills.
You will also bring:Experience in procurement, sourcing or supplier managementKnowledge of transport or logistics operations and industry dynamicsStrong numerical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPointExperience leading tenders and negotiations with subcontractors or carriersExcellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approachCIPS/MCIPS or tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related field (desirable)A willingness to work flexibly, including outside of standard business hours, to meet business or customer requirements.In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
