Job Summary

This role is responsible for coordinating procurement activities and delivering support to operations. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to procure parts and manage the sustainability of spares and rotables for operational networks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing procurement coordination and delivery support to operations teams
  • Liaising with subject matter experts to gather procurement requirements and coordinate funding arrangements
  • Preparing documentation for procurements, including registration, procurement plans, approach to market, tender evaluation plans, and evaluation reports
  • Ensuring all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with departmental policies
  • Managing the movement of stock items from suppliers to the organization using SAP EBS and IBM Maximo Asset Management systems
  • Coordinating assets, including obtaining quotes and invoicing, through to asset disposal
  • Performing other related administrative tasks as directed

Mandatory Skills

High-level interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)

Desirable

A thorough understanding of the commonwealth procurement rules; qualifications or experience applicable to procurement, SAP EBS, IBM Maximo Asset Management, and inventory management practices
