**About the Role**:
This position will be responsible for managing the project, and providing high-level responses and policy direction relating to the Anti-bullying Collective and other emerging priorities. The successful person will be key to delivering the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.
This is an opportunity for an individual to work in a dynamic environment, be part of a motivated and energetic team, and to deliver on the important national priority to support Australian schools to counter bullying, harassment and violence.
As the Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Analyse data and research to inform policy development, evidence-based resources and strategic directions on issues critical to the project.
- Initiate, maintain and promote effective relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated responses to the issue of bullying.
- Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to bullying.
- Manage the delivery of the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence and the Bullying. No Way website on behalf of all Australian education jurisdictions.
- Prepare and review briefing material, correspondence and reports for the Minister, senior departmental officers, government agencies and other entities on issues related to bullying an2 the Australian Anti-bullying Collective.
- Provide support to the Director in ensuring the team delivers high quality advice and support.

To succeed in this role, you will possess and can demonstrate the following key attributes:

- Highly developed management skills with an ability to provide comprehensive policy advice regarding complex and sensitive matters.
- Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities including proven consultation and negotiation abilities.
- A track record in achieving high levels of productivity autonomously, in complex, sensitive or high-pressure environments.
- Strong understanding of best-practice approaches that can be implemented in schools to address bullying.
- Competency in providing exemplary advice and support in the area of bullying within the educational environment.
