Homelessness Health Specialist Social Work Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled specialist social work professional to lead our homelessness health service. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in clinical social work and expertise in providing high-quality services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals. As a specialist social work lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve health outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.
Main Responsibilities:
To provide expert clinical guidance and support to our social work team to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients and clients.
To strengthen partnerships and collaboration between health and community sectors, working closely with NGOs to improve service coordination and delivery.
To lead clinical service improvement initiatives across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Health District, focusing on Homelessness Health.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and strategically. They will be passionate about improving health outcomes for marginalized communities and committed to delivering high-quality services that make a real difference.
