Job Overview

The position of a Clinical Lead in Social Work involves supporting patients and their family members in achieving optimal health outcomes.

This role is a key part of the specialist social work service, providing clinically guided services to people experiencing homelessness.

The successful candidate will strengthen partnerships between health and community sectors, working closely with NGOs responsible for brokerage funds, and lead clinical service improvement across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Health District in Homelessness Health.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Clinically guiding specialist social workers in delivering high-quality services to people experiencing homelessness
  • Providing specialist social work services for Homeless Health, supporting individuals to secure and maintain stable accommodation
  • Strengthening partnerships and collaboration between health and community sectors
  • Leading clinical service improvement across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Health District in Homelessness Health

Requirements

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for Category A roles
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Social Work degree and eligibility for Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence
