**About the role**
As the Safety and Sustainability Manager, you will lead the Selleys and Yates businesses delivering strategic projects in all aspects of Safety and Sustainability.
Reporting to the Group Head of Safety & Sustainability, this role is integral in driving effective and efficient management of safety and sustainability risks such as process safety including flammable solvents & combustible dusts, fatality, injury and sustainably.
You will lead a team of three across our manufacturing sites and will require an ability to establish close relationships and influence all site personnel from shop floor to leadership team members, to achieve results.
**Responsibilities**
- Drive and monitor continuous improvement in key S&S performance indicators.
- Engage, coach and influence employees at all levels in understanding the responsibilities of their roles consistent with the company's S&S expectations.
- Present to Business Unit's leadership teams.
- Drive the development and completion of site improvement plans to ensure compliance with company procedures, standards, and external legislation.
- Develop, deliver and facilitate required training and competency development programs

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong advisory work experience in an operational / manufacturing environment looking after multiple stakeholders and sites.
- Proven experience in management system implementation, problem solving, root cause analysis, training, and management reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with all stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills.
- Diploma/degree in safety, health, and environment, or other relevant technical discipline (e.g. engineering, science)
