We're seeking a skilled professional to join our Infrastructure Advisory team.
Job Description:
As a Senior Consultant or Manager, you'll contribute to building a better working world by providing expert advice on strategy, policy reform, investment decisions, and transaction processes. You'll support government decision-making through economic and financial analysis addressing strategic policy reform and regulatory issues. Additionally, you'll develop cutting-edge strategies and business cases to support government investments.
You'll provide quality commercial and procurement advice across the transaction lifecycle, from go-to-market planning and industry engagement through to financial close and beyond. Your expertise will be applied in major transport, renewable energy, health, human services, defence, and international development projects across Australia and internationally.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide insightful commercial, economic, and strategic policy advice to clients.
Craft clear, well-structured reports and presentations.
Utilise analytical models to evaluate costs, benefits, and impacts.
Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches, thought leadership, and other business development material.
Play a role in managing client engagements and presenting your analysis and findings.
Foster meaningful relationships across EY and with clients and industry professionals.
Requirements:
2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or law.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and deliver high-quality work on client engagements.
Experience gained from within professional consulting practices, finance, construction, or government sectors.
Experience in transport and/or renewable energy projects is highly regarded.
A keen interest in tackling complex challenges that positively impact all Australians.
Strong communication skills, as well as both quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
A proactive, positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit.
