Overview of the Role:

As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic reform initiatives within the NSW Government. You will work closely with various government agencies to analyse and evaluate fiscal sustainability and develop evidence-based recommendations to inform policy decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to drive project success
  • Manage projects and build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Provide specialist advice to senior executives
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships across Treasury

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, accounting, finance, law, business, or a related discipline
  • Experience in consulting, strategy development, financial due diligence, and program evaluation
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
