This full-time role is responsible for leading administrative operations across two key Cabrini outpatient sites.You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of services, supporting a collaborative team, and enhancing the patient experience.About YouWe're seeking a dynamic and experienced Administration Team Leader to drive excellence across Cabrini's outpatient services.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with admin staff, clinicians, and support services to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and outstanding patient care.Key responsibilities:Lead and support the outpatient administration team across two locations, ensuring efficient and professional daily operationsBuild and maintain a positive team culture focused on collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvementWork closely with the Outpatient Manager to manage team performance, rostering, and task allocationOversee billing processes including HiCAPS, Medicare, and private health fund claimsManage weekly banking and transaction reconciliation in line with financial and contract compliance requirementsCoordinate core administrative functions, such as patient scheduling, informed financial consent, admissions/discharges, and certificate handlingProvide front desk coverage as needed, ensuring a seamless patient and visitor experienceMaintain and update clinical diaries and referral workflows through Cabrini Access ServicesAct as a liaison with internal support departments (e.g. Engineering, Domestic Services, IT) to ensure smooth site operationsUphold confidentiality and privacy in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and Cabrini's policiesEscalate complex issues to the Outpatient Manager when necessaryAbout you:Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality customer serviceProven leadership experience, including performance management, conflict resolution, and team developmentFlexible, collaborative, and able to work proactively in a fast-paced environmentEffective under pressure with strong organisational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with webPAS is highly regardedPrevious experience in healthcare administration and/or training in medical terminology is highly desirableIf you're an enthusiastic and experienced administrator ready to lead a dedicated team and make a real impact on patient care—we'd love to hear from you.Apply today to be part of Cabrini's supportive and growing outpatient services team.To view the position description click here Enquiries should be directed to: Susy Baenziger – Manager Outpatients 9508 5200*Please note that interviews may be offered on application, we urge you to submit your application todayDoes this sound like your new role?
