Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Business Analyst
to join our agile delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at translating business needs into technical solutions, and is passionate about driving process improvements through collaborative design.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Collaboration
: Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support iterative delivery of business solutions.
Requirement Gathering & Translation
: Engage with stakeholders to elicit business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Stakeholder Engagement
: Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, and business users to ensure alignment and shared understanding of goals.
User Story Development
: Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
Backlog Management
: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and aligned with business value.
Design Documentation
: Create and maintain design documents including process flows, data mappings, and integration specifications.
Process Improvement
: Analyze and update business processes to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Review & Sign-Off
: Facilitate design reviews and secure stakeholder approval on documentation and proposed changes.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience working in Agile environments
(Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams
Proficiency in writing user stories and managing backlogs
Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
Skilled in creating and reviewing design documentation and process maps
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Requirements
Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering cyber security awareness, education, or uplift activities within an organisation. 25%
Strong stakeholder engagement and communications skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. 25%
Experience supporting the development and maintenance of cyber security policies, operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles. 25%
Ability to support project activities, including planning, reporting, and facilitation of cyber security exercises or workshops. 25%
Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications.
