Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our agile delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at translating business needs into technical solutions, and is passionate about driving process improvements through collaborative design.

Key Responsibilities

- Agile Collaboration: Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support iterative delivery of business solutions.

- Requirement Gathering & Translation: Engage with stakeholders to elicit business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, and business users to ensure alignment and shared understanding of goals.

- User Story Development: Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

- Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and aligned with business value.

- Design Documentation: Create and maintain design documents including process flows, data mappings, and integration specifications.

- Process Improvement: Analyze and update business processes to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.

- Review & Sign-Off: Facilitate design reviews and secure stakeholder approval on documentation and proposed changes.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).

- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables

- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams

- Proficiency in writing user stories and managing backlogs

- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence

- Skilled in creating and reviewing design documentation and process maps

- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Requirements

1. Demonstrated experience coordinating and delivering cyber security awareness, education, or uplift activities within an organisation. 25%

2. Strong stakeholder engagement and communications skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. 25%

3. Experience supporting the development and maintenance of cyber security policies, operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles. 25%

4. Ability to support project activities, including planning, reporting, and facilitation of cyber security exercises or workshops. 25%

5. Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications.
