Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's recovery journeys? An opportunity has become available to join the Workforce Safety and Wellbeing team as a Rehabilitation and Injury Management Coordinator. This is an exciting and fast paced role where no two days are the same. Our office is centrally located in Penrith CBD and readily accessible to shops and public transport (2-minute walk from Penrith Station).

Your role will manage individual workplace rehabilitation programs for ill and injured employees using a proactive case management approach to facilitate a safe, timely and durable return to work. The successful incumbent will use their strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and injury management regulations/practices in assessing and developing quality rehabilitation/care options and return to work plans. Key to your success is having strong communication and interpersonal skills when engaging and consulting with diverse stakeholders.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- in Allied Health or an appropriate discipline and/or workers compensation and injury management experience and expertise. (*Formal qualifications may be offset by extensive management experience and proven expertise in injury management; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience).
- Well-developed oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Thorough understanding of injury management principles, combined with experience in managing a large caseload including complex and long term cases.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of Workers Compensation legislation and relevant regulations.
- Experience in the collection and analysis of data and the ability to prepare information for reporting purposes
- Possess or willing to obtain NSW SIRA Return to Work Coordinator Accreditation
- Current NSW Class C Driver's License.
