**About the Role**:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Donor Development Manager who is driven to deliver exceptional experiences to supporters.

This role is pivotal in delivering the long-term strategy of diversifying revenue by growing appeals, regular giving, mid value, gifts in wills and donor care programs. You will focus on the needs of supporters, measuring trust and loyalty, and overseeing programs to increase engagement and revenue.

As a leadership position you will be integral in driving and leading a team of fundraisers to ensure the charity remains the best at thank donors and sharing impact.

This role is looking for a creative, data driven fundraiser who is ready to take the step in to a strategic leadership role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, manage and develop the team to achieve required growth targets for direct mail, regular giving, mid-value, and gifts in wills programs
- Develop and deliver an annual donor acquisition[VA1] and retention plan to maintain and grow donor numbers and fundraising income
- Monitor and report on all individual supporter retention and acquisition activity, including the development of commitment scoring
- Develop and oversee the execution of a donor care strategy
- Implement the Gifts in Wills strategy, including the continual optimisation of donor survey, pack development, stewardship, call strategy, and propensity modelling
- Develop and implement a mid-value strategy to identify, nurture and grow the mid-value donor base
- Oversee all elements of gift processing and the development and management of the donor care volunteer program
- Maintain database hygiene with regular database maintenance and develop a data strategy in line with propensity modelling objectives

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Previous fundraising experience, in particular experience and understanding of individual giving, gift in will and digital fundraising methodology
- Demonstrated direct marketing experience and understanding of Cash Giving programs including acquisition, retention and operations
- Proven strategic planning and project management skills
- Ability to analyse data and convert findings insights into operational outcomes
- Have a track record in designing, delivering, and managing fundraising campaigns successfully
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Be motivated, driven and solutions focused to achieve business vision and purpose
- Ability to establish and meet significant budgets
- Demonstrate an interest and passion to work for a NFP
