**What it's about**

For this position, we are looking for a junior to intermediate commercial/corporate lawyer in our Sydney office to assist with our growing Australian business, focusing primarily on Australian superannuation clients and private wealth clients. Partners Group's structuring team is responsible for developing innovative investment fund structures for institutional and private investors globally. Structuring team members regularly interact with the firm's client relationship management, investment and operations teams as well as with clients and external service providers.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and reviewing agreements relating to investment structures such as limited partnership agreements, side letters and prospectuses.
- Assisting in the development, design and implementation of innovative structuring solutions for the Australian market and beyond.
- Developing own service catalogue with full ownership and high autonomy.
- Efficiently managing projects from an operational and project management aspect.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory/industry developments and providing periodic updates to internal parties.
- Instructing and managing external legal counsel and other service providers.
- Negotiating terms and conditions with clients and service providers.
- Supporting business development efforts by contributing to client meetings and presentations.

**What we expect**
- 1-3 years of post-qualification experience as a commercial/corporate lawyer, background in fund formation and/or financial services is a plus but is not essential.
- Top academic credentials in law. Credentials in commerce, business administration and/or finance are a plus.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with strong desire to learn and succeed.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills to manage multiple projects in parallel with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties.
- Fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus.
