Senior / Lead Designers (Mechanical & Piping)Position Overview:We are seeking experienced Senior / Lead Designers specializing in Mechanical & Piping to join our team.
The role involves developing facility layouts, producing 3D models, and providing technical support across projects.Responsibilities include:Developing facility layouts, including conveyors, equipment, and platework.Producing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings from concept to detailed design, either under direction or as a design lead.Providing technical input and support to project teams.Applying and promoting safe design practices across all stages.Reviewing drawings for accuracy and compliance with MACA Interquip Mintrex standards.Supporting project delivery by managing timelines, design efficiency, and client expectations.Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal design systems and adopting new tools and techniques.Assisting with Structural, Mechanical, Civil, and Piping design work as needed.Qualifications and Skills:Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification.Minimum of 10 years' experience in a design, consultancy, or operational environment.Proficiency in 3D design tools such as AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Navisworks, or similar.Experience in mining and heavy industry is highly regarded.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Leadership experience or interest in stepping into a lead role.Additional Information:Interested candidates can view salary insights and apply through our platform.
